About The Founder

Mr. J.C. Seth was the visionary founder of J.C. Seth & Co., now known as Seth Law Chambers. After a distinguished career as Company Secretary and General Manager (Law) at NTPC and ONGC, he established the firm in 1986. A gold medalist and first-class rank holder in Public Administration and Law, Mr. Seth held multiple prestigious academic qualifications, including diplomas in Corporate Law, Labour Law, and Business Management.

A Fellow of the Institute of Company Secretaries and a member of various esteemed legal bodies such as the International Bar Association, Supreme Court Bar Association, and Indian Council of Arbitration, he brought over 45 years of legal experience to the firm. Known for his deep expertise in public law, corporate advisory, and litigation, Mr. Seth was a practicing counsel in the Supreme Court and several High Courts across India. His legacy of integrity, legal acumen, and dedication continues to guide the firm.
